PLU leaders meet Mawanda in Nakasero to chart new mobilization drive
A team of leaders from different institutions met the Patriotic League of Uganda's Director of Mobilization, Hon. Michael Mawanda, on 12th August 2026 at the Office of the National Chairman in Nakasero, to discuss strategies for strengthening the party's mobilization efforts across institutions countrywide.
Presiding over the meeting, Mawanda, who also serves as Member of Parliament for Igara East, emphasized that institution-based mobilization will be key to deepening PLU's presence in communities, workplaces, and campuses across Uganda.
Mawanda urged the team to maintain a strong and positive public image as PLU positions itself for greater national engagement.
He reaffirmed PLU's commitment to supporting the National Resistance Movement and its flag bearers, stressing that party structures are critical to electoral success.
