Morocco’s Oussama Lamlioui has been crowned Puma Top Scorer of CHAN PAMOJA 2024, finishing with six goals after netting twice in the Atlas Lions’ 3-2 victory over Madagascar in Saturday’s final.
The 29-year-old forward proved decisive throughout the tournament, scoring in the group stage against Zambia, DR Congo, and Tanzania, before delivering in the semi-final shootout against Senegal. His consistency spearheaded Morocco’s march to a third CHAN title.
Lamlioui joins compatriots Soufiane Rahimi (2020) and Ayoub El Kaabi (2018) as Golden Boot winners, continuing Morocco’s dominance in the competition.
At club level, he has also excelled for RS Berkane, firing them to CAF Confederation Cup and domestic success, strengthening calls for his inclusion in Morocco’s senior national team.
